THIS IS A PRIVACY POLICY FOR JobSiteForecast LLC (hereinafter “JobSiteForecast” or “we”, “us”) RELATED TO INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT ON JobSiteForecast SUITE OF ONLINE BUSINESS SOFTWARE.

Information We Collect

We do not request or store any personal sensitive information, we only collect information which you send through the application such as:
– Authentication data for the purpose of signing in
– Timecard information if your company uses the timecard service

How the Information is Collected

If you use our mobile application, we may process information with your permission:
– Geolocation Data to assist in providing location based services
– Push Notifications to assist in providing schedule changes.  You may turn these off in your device settings.
– Certain sensitive personal information may be processed using the Custom Reports module; none of the information is stored.

Why the Information is Collected

We do not track your activities or collect analytics.  We do install cookies on your device for the purposes of logging into the systems.  The geolocation information is only used on your device in order to provide driving directions.  The push notifications are provided to give you up to date schedule information.

Who We Share Information With

We do not share any information with third parties, except as noted below.  
– Information is shared with your employer as part of their use of the software services.  
– Information is shared with Google Maps API for the purposes of providing directions.
– Information is shared with AWS Bedrock and AI providers for the purposed of providing AI Generated Features

Data Security

All data is maintained in a firewall protected server that is monitored.  Access to the information is controlled by username and passwords as set up and managed by your employer.  All data is encrypted in transit.

Data Retention

Job-related information including financial data, schedules and AI-generated reports, is retained while the job is active and for 6 months after the job is closed.  After that period, the information is permanently deleted.  Data in backup copies are deleted based on our normal (30 day) backup rotation schedule.

Timecard information is retained for as long as your account remains active, however JobSiteForecast is not the system of record.  Your company is responsible for transferring timecard information to the accounting or payroll system, which maintains the official record for legal, tax and audit purposes.

If your account is closed, all data associated with your account, including timecard information is retained for six (6) months after closure and then permanently deleted.  You may request an export of your data during the period by contacting support@jobsiteforecast.com. 

User Rights

Access and/or correction of your data must be done through your employer.  

Legal Requirements and Data Retention

If your employer is using the timecard system, there may be legal requirements for retention of timecards.  You should contact your employer if you have any questions about these legal requirements.
